I just found your channel and am enjoying the videos! I am fairly new to watercolor. This is a random question but I've noticed you don't seem to mind when colors mix a bit inside your half-pans. Whereas I'm always neurotically rinsing my brush so that I can keep my colors pure. But it makes mixing colors so hard! Do you just not worry about it? What do you do if you need pure yellow and your yellow has blue in it??

I know this video has been up for a few years but I just checked out some books from my library and loved one so looked up author and it’s YOU so now I’m watching all your vids because your skill, talent, voice, & instruction is top notch & so so helpful & inspiring. I can’t afford classes right now so can’t tell you how much i appreciate & am grateful for you making all of this available. I admire you & your work

I am a newbie, can I use white to add lightless where it's too dark?

This was just outstanding! You were very clear with this and although I have done WC a bit, never has the issue of light source and contrast and how to leave white areas explained so very well. This is a great way to try different color combinations and play around with it in an abstract way without worrying about some of the details of figures or landscape or anything else like that. And it looks great!
